Information we collect

• Flex and listing information: category, title, description, destination URL, an uploaded image or a preview image copied from that URL, payment amount, rank, Spotlight status and related timestamps.
• Payment information: PayPal order, authorization and capture identifiers, payment status, amount, and payer name or email when PayPal supplies them. PayPal, not ShowOff.today, collects complete card, bank and PayPal login details.
• Views and clicks: aggregate listing clicks and Spotlight views. A random session identifier may be stored in your browser and associated with a Spotlight view to reduce duplicate counting.
• Optional analytics: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may process page views, interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, and session or heatmap information so we can understand how the Service is used.
• Device and technical information: standard request and security information such as IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps and error records may be processed by our hosting infrastructure.
• Messages: information you send when requesting support, reporting content, exercising a privacy right or disputing a payment.

Browser storage

We use session storage for functional purposes, including remembering that the introductory animation has played and assigning a random viewer-session identifier for Spotlight counting. These values are not advertising profiles and normally disappear when the browser session ends.

Your analytics choice is stored locally so we can remember it. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you select “Allow analytics” and may then use analytics cookies. You can reopen Privacy settings from the page, withdraw permission, and clear those analytics cookies without affecting payments, rankings or access to the Service.

How we use information

• To create and display flexes, calculate ranks, run auctions, count engagement and deliver paid placements.
• To process and reconcile payments, release or capture authorizations, respond to disputes and keep accounting records.
• To store and deliver uploaded images and destination links.
• To prevent fraud, manipulation, duplicate view counting, abuse and security incidents.
• With your permission, to measure traffic, interactions and usability so we can improve the Service.
• To answer messages, enforce our Terms, moderate content and comply with legal obligations.

Public information

Submitted flex content, images, destination links, categories, rank, payment totals, click counts and Spotlight view counts are intended to be public. They may be seen, copied or indexed by others, including search engines. Do not submit content or personal information that you do not want publicly associated with the entry.

Who receives information

• PayPal, which processes checkout, authorization, capture, refunds and payment disputes under its own privacy terms.
• Hosting, database and object-storage providers, which operate the website, database and uploaded-media delivery.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, only after you allow analytics, which help us understand visits and interactions under their respective privacy terms.
• Professional advisers, payment partners, authorities or another operator where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the Service, handle a claim or transfer the Service.

We do not sell personal data. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours and are expected to protect it under their contracts and applicable law.

How long we retain information

Public flex records remain while the leaderboard is persistent or until they are removed under the Terms. Uploaded images may remain with their associated entry and in limited backups. Payment and transaction records are retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud and dispute handling. Technical, view and click records are kept only as long as reasonably useful for security, integrity and aggregate reporting. Support and legal correspondence may be retained while a request, dispute or legal obligation remains relevant.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about personal data we hold about you and ask for correction, completion, deletion or withdrawal of consent where relevant. You may also raise a grievance about our handling of your data. Email showoff.toall@gmail.com. We may request enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant record.

Removing a public flex does not automatically reverse a completed payment, and information may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is legally required.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid submitting confidential documents, identity numbers, financial information or other sensitive material as public flex content.

Children

The paid Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact
